Asiatique will continue our "Passion for Fusion" dinner series on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Chef Looi will pair his creative Pacific Rim cuisine with wines from Brown Forman. The dinner will be $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. The cost of the dinner will include a cocktail and appetizer pass around featuring the Chambord Korbel Rita from 6:30 - 7:00. The five course dinner will begin at 7:00.

The pass around: Goat chesse and crabmeat spring roll, Asian style beef kebabs and stuffed mushroom with goat cheese and Asian style basil pesto
Course 1: Grilled squid, mango, hydroponic baby lettuce and ginger+soy vinaigrette paired with '06 Bonterra Viognier
Course 2: Sweet soy+Chinese five spice duck confit 'wonton' with shiitake sauce, Chinois 'salt & pink peppercorn' shrimp, scallop carpaccio with Indocine nuoc mam vinaigrette paired with '06 Sonoma Cutrer 'Les Pierres' Chardonnay
Course 3: Roasted Malays spiced red snapper, lemongrass scented South Asian prawn, cumin scented tomato chutney and sambal sauce paired with '05 Mariah Zinfandel
Course 4: 'Slow and steady' braised beef short rib, turmeric and coffee essence, pickled root vegetables and espresso+star anise reduction paired with '04 Santuary Cabernet Sauvignon
Dessert: Tuaca+ginger cheese cake with orange essence, lemon basil cake with bell pepper ice cream, turtle apple tart with Old Forester caramel and braised pineapple+Korbel sorbet paired with Bonterra Muscat
Space is limited. Please call Asiatique Restaurant at 502-451-2749 for reservations. All reservations must be held with a credit card. Cancelations must be made 48 hours prior to the event. In the event the cancellation policy is not met, anyone not present for their reservation will be charged $25 per person.
